Must-Visit Attractions at New York City Roosevelt Island

Located between Manhattan and Queens, this narrow island has had a long history. Previously known by many different names such as MinnehanonckVarkens EylandtBlackwell’s Island and Welfare Island, the Roosevelt Island offers many different interesting attractions for charter bus visitors to explore.
This island has been used for many purposes and had been home to asylums, prisons, hospital out-patients and UN workers. However, things have changed since then and Roosevelt Island is now beautiful with lovely riverside walks, parks and a renovated tram made famous in movies like Spiderman.

Celebrations at the Bronx

As the northernmost boroughs of New York City, the Bronx is the only borough located primarily on the mainland. With the variety of neighborhoods in the Bronx, party bus visitors will find lots of attractions to visit and many events to take part in.
Here are some of the festivals held at the Bronx that you should take a chance to visit in your charter bus.

Bronx Culture Trolley

A project of the South Bronx Cultural Corridor, the Bronx Culture Trolley is held every first Wednesday of each month except on January and September. What to see at the Grand Central Terminal

When speaking of visiting New York, you should never miss visiting the most iconic landmark in NY, which is the Grand Central Terminal. Your party bus driver can get you there in a jiffy, and you can take a photo of yourself and your friends in one of the most shown landmark in movies that feature New York as a location.

*****

The Main Concourse of Grand Central Terminal is huge. To be exact, it encompases 275 feet in length, 120 feet in width and 125 feet in height. This area is the busiest part of the terminal, with the most noticeable icon in the whole terminal is the four-faced clock on top of the information booth. This infamous clock is made from brass and casted in Waterbury Connecticut, with its face made out of opalescent glass.

Souvenir Shopping in New York City

Whether you are here in New York City for the very first time or you have been here countless times, you might want to bring home some specialty or unique gifts or souvenirs with you so that you can share them out with your family and friends who are not with your during your party bus NY visit. There is something very enthusiastic and energetic about New York as a place and tourist destination. You can feel it in the air that you breathe, the people that you meet, the food that you in, and also in the experiences that you have. Nowhere else on the planet can you feel every single inch of your being being tantalized consistently. So, bring some of that home with you at these amazing and unique gift shops.
At Katz’s Delicatessen, they have a saying that goes to the tune of ‘Send a salami to your boy in the Army!’ because it simply reminds soldiers of something that they can look forward to when they come back home. The outlet’s been around for a long time, let’s just say that the New York’s Lower East Side outlet’s been around since 1888....and they know what armed forces want. The Katz’s salami is truly one of a kind and we have yet to find another outlet that can completely duplicate what they offer. The popularity of their salami is apparent with the long lines of people queueing up from early mornings till late at night.
Of course, when speaking about souvenirs and gift shops in New York city, we can’t NOT speak about Memories of New York. Strategically-located along the fifth avenue, the shop’s got it down pat with a long list of officially licensed products which includes stuff like apparel, the all-necessary postcards, mugs, magnets, funny and meaningful figurines, and rare pop-culture souvenirs and products. The important thing is that they turned it into a all-under-one-roof concept shop so that you can find something for everyone without having to waste your precious vacation time traipsing from one store to another despite having access to a party bus NY vehicle. The friendly owner of the store and their fantastic customer services...makes it a very complete experience.
There are plenty of gift shops around Times Square but one of our favorites would have to be Grand Slam NY. It is highly ranked as a top favorite on review sites and we think they have earned their name in a legitimate way, of course. The pricing of the items are kept affordable so it makes shopping here very enjoyable as you get to buy more for less.
We hope we got you started off well with gift shopping during your party bus New York vacation. We hope to be at your service in the very near future.

Bunker Vietnamese

Wouldn’t you like to bring your friends or guests who are visiting for some interesting and unique dining experience in New York? How about taking them out in a NY party bus for some Vietnamese dining experience when your friends visit you the next time or when it is your turn to plan for a dinner outing for the group? At Bunker Vietnamese, you can never go wrong. In fact, your friends may even bug you to bring them here again the next time they come visiting.

Bunker Vietnamese is a rather small place, but packed with lots of delicious Vietnamese dishes – whether or not you have eaten Vietnamese food before, once you have tried them at Bunker Vietnamese, you will definitely want to return here for more! Coming here would be a little bit of a problem for you if you are not familiar with the area, hence, renting a NY party bus would surely be the best solution for you and your friends. As soon as you get down from the party bus, you and your friends will be seated right away, if they have tables available when you arrive, that is. Otherwise, you may have to wait a little while before you are being brought to a table.

Currently, the restaurant offers BYOB until their liquor license goes through, so this is definitely a plus point for many of their first time as well as regular diners. So, if you and your friends enjoy drinking wine as you dine, you can actually BYOB as you come to try out the food at Bunker Vietnamese. After all, you are already coming in a New York party bus with your friends, there is no need to worry as to who will be the driver for the night. As you already know, the restaurant is rather small, so for them to accommodate to large group of diners at one go may prove to be a little tricky, though the staff there are quite accommodating to the requests of their diners, but a group of 8 people at any one time may be just what they can handle for the time being. If you and your friends are adventurous when it comes to trying new dishes and food, we would suggest that you try the Vietnamese local dishes to get a taste of what their authentic food is like. We know that their fried spring rolls served with mint and green leaf lettuce is quite impressive!

Going Cheap And Visiting New York’s 9/11 Tribute Center

We have heard it all, time and time again, things are not cheap in New York City, one of the world’s leading entertainment capital of the world. There is a reason why things are more colorful, people are faster, work is better and entertainment more available in the city that never sleeps. But that is not to say that it is IMPOSSIBLE to go cheap in NYC. We have had plenty of our New York city charter bus, party bus rental customers visit the city during the weekends and still not break a budget. The key point being that we need to know where to look and what to do if we do not wish to break the bank account.
A great way to save is to use the CityPass. The Citypass lets visitors purchase admission tickets into multiple attractions at a fraction of the cost of purchasing it on your own, online or at the ticketing counter. Some might scoff at the idea of saving a couple of bucks but let’s just say that it adds up to quite a bit if you are visiting several NYC charter bus rental attractions in a large group!
Visiting the NYC’s 911 Tribute Center is a must. 9/11 is a historic event that changed and have affected the life of many and by visiting the center, you share the recovery process, the story, pain and personal memorial tribute with the families affected by the tragic event. The center was built by the September 11th Families Association, an official association formed to connect the communities through various means like films, photos, and also memorabilia.
It is indeed an eye-opening experience to hear the stories from rescue workers who went into ground zero to do what they had to do to save every life they possibly can. The survivors also share their stories of their close shaves on that tragic day and the incidences that made it their lucky miss.
It might sound like a bit of a somber visit for everyone but there is a bright to everything and we all know how New Yorkers are known for their ability to bounce back. There will be a new World Trade Center at its place at the end of day and at the center, you will get to share not just the grief and disbelief that these families and communities went through, the people of New York will share their joy, experience and hope with visitors who care enough to pay tribute to the city that never sleeps.
At the end of your New York city charter bus group visit, please stop by the 9/11 Tribute Center gift shop which sells authorized items in the terms of t shirts, badges, collectibles and souvenirs that you can bring home with you at the end of your memorable vacation.

Party time in New York City

As one of the entertainment capitals of the world, New York City caters to every type of interest and age group. The restaurants, landmarks and performance theaters are appreciated by all, but young adults on a party bus will particularly enjoy the exceptional nightlife, offbeat tours and sports-related activities. American writer Pearl S. Buck called New York City "a place apart. There is not its match in any other country in the world." For party bus visitors this is especially true when they visit New York City with a bus, coach bus, party bus, mini bus, passenger coach or school bus rented from Party Bus New York.
All the top music artists come to New York City to perform and a great way of seeing their concerts and gigs is with a party bus. Multiple arenas and stadiums host concerts in Manhattan, Brooklyn and across the river in New Jersey, and small- and medium-size venues exist throughout the five boroughs. This is also a chance to experience historic music scenes such as the world-famous salsa clubs and Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater. In summer, Central Park and other outdoor areas host concerts.
Many want to experience at least one night of partying New York City style, and New York offers every imaginable option for the party bus visitor. Sharp-dressed scenesters should head to the trendy Meatpacking District in Chelsea for the most prestigious nightlife, while rock 'n’ rollers will enjoy the Lower East Side and East Village, with the city’s highest concentration of bars. Indie-minded artistic types should already know about Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which is the New York City home of the hipster.
The masses flock to the double-decker sightseeing buses, but New York party bus visitors typically enjoy something edgier. New York City has it. Specialty tours can focus on mobsters, punk rock, boutique shops and even a “Sex in the City” experience, while self-guided tours can visit the Dakota apartments where John Lennon was shot, the Bronx cottage where Edgar Allan Poe wrote and the buildings that housed Andy Warhol's infamous Factory art scenes. Party bus visitors can write lists of their favorite New York personalities and easily find important sites related to them all.
Historically, this is where the Titanic would have docked, but today this series of piers has been transformed into an entertainment sports complex for party bus visitors right on the Hudson River. The center has everything, including a day spa, gymnastics center, basketball courts, batting cages, dance studio, golf-hitting stalls, ice rinks for skating and hockey and one of the largest rock-climbing walls in the northeast. Pier 59 is also home to Manhattan’s only microbrewery, Chelsea Brewing Co. Weather can affect certain activities, so always check the website before going.
New York City, the city that never sleeps, is perfect for a party bus night out with your friends. Party BUs New York can help you make it happen, using one of their fully equipped party buses.
